1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the ZUMO Rentals LLC website and rental services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the service.

2. Eligibility and Rental Requirements

To rent a vehicle from ZUMO Rentals LLC, you must meet the following criteria:

• Be at least 25 years of age.
• Possess a valid driver's license that has been verified through our Stripe Identity process.
• Provide proof of full coverage active automotive insurance that extends to rental vehicles.
• Provide a valid credit card for the security deposit and rental charges.

3. Vehicle Use & Prohibited Activities

You agree that the rental vehicle will NOT be used for:

• Any illegal purpose or in connection with any illegal activity.
• Racing, rallying, speed testing, or on any racetrack.
• Towing or pushing any other vehicle or object.
• Carrying passengers or property for hire (e.g., Turo, Uber, Lyft) without prior written consent.
• Driving by anyone other than the authorized driver(s) listed in the rental agreement.
• Driving under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any other impairing substance.

4. Insurance and Liability

You are responsible for obtaining and maintaining full coverage insurance that covers the rented vehicle. You agree to be personally liable for any and all damage to the vehicle, theft, or loss that is not covered by your insurance policy, including but not limited to deductibles, loss of use, and diminished value.

5. Fees and Cancellation

Cancellations: Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the trip start time are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours may be subject to a fee.

Security Deposit: A security deposit is required for all rentals to cover incidental charges or damages not covered by insurance. The deposit is fully refundable provided the vehicle is returned in the exact condition it was received. Deductions from the security deposit may occur for:

• Vehicle Damage: Scratches, dents, interior damage, rim/wheel scuffs, or any change in condition noted during the post-rental inspection.
• Fuel Replacement: If the vehicle is returned with less fuel than when picked up, a refueling charge plus a convenience fee will apply.
• Mileage Overage: Any miles driven exceeding the daily allowance specified in your booking agreement will be charged at a predetermined per-mile rate.
• Other Violations: Tolls, parking tickets, speeding violations, excessive dirt requiring deep cleaning, smoking in the vehicle, and late returns.

Note: The deposit refund process typically takes 2 to 14 business days after the rental concludes, pending a full vehicle inspection.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall ZUMO Rentals LLC, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
